"Yeah, I guess. I mean, I don't... know Kon that well or anything, but he was one of the first people I met on the island, and I always seemed to bump into him," Claire considered, turning her gaze and shaking her head slightly, pulling out a grater to work on getting some orange peel shavings. "And he had this thing where he always seemed to be flirting with me, and I just got out of something bad, and it was weird?"

Bobbing her head, Claire waved her hand in a vague motion before continuing. "But then he reassured me by saying that he already had this girl that he liked. I've never had anything like that, though, being in love with a best friend, so I have no idea what that must be like."
